Painting in Tuscany with Contemporary Impressionist Niki Gulley

October 12, 2026

“Flowering Destination” ©2025 Niki Gulley
SOLD • 16″ x 20″ textured acrylic painting on canvas panel

When we pulled into this villa in Italy, I thought I’d walked into a fantasy land! Gorgeous Roman architecture surrounded by the most beautiful rose gardens in every direction. I could just imagine holding the most romantic wedding here, and how happy all of your guests would be. I hope you, too, can escape into these idyllic grounds and absorb the beauty of Tuscany.

Uplifting Palette Knife Sunflower Painting by Niki Gulley

October 5, 2026
“Sunshine Serenade” ©2026 Niki Gulley
SOLD • 16″ x 20″ textured acrylic painting on canvas panel

Started on location in Tuscany, these bright, smiling faces just lifted my spirits and I had to paint them to share their cheer with you! Beyond these joyous sunflowers, the quintessential Tuscan farmhouse has the best view of the surrounding valleys. Misty clouds rise from the horizon as cooler nights meet warmer days and set the stage of the magical light and dreamy allure of Tuscany. The resulting painting is full of warmth, color and texture, and my hope is that when you gaze into it, this piece lifts your spirits and brightens up any spot in your home.

Contemporary Impressionist Niki Gulley Paints Water Lilies

September 28, 2026

“Tuscany Oasis” ©2025 Niki Gulley
SOLD • 10″ x 20″ textured acrylic painting on canvas panel

Is this just about the most beautiful setting you could imagine? Castle – check. Cypress trees – check. Water lilies – check. Surrounded by beautiful roes all around – check. Set against a gorgeous blue sky on a warm, sunny day – check. I don’t think this one needs any explanation as to why I had to paint it! All I have to say is I hope you, too, are transported to this magical wonderland.

“Field of Dreams” Large Triptych Sunflower Painting by Niki Gulley

January 13, 2026

“Field of Dreams” ©2025 Niki Gulley
SOLD • Three 48″ x 36″ canvases to form a 48″ x 90″ triptych
textured oil painting on wrap around canvas

Just sold through the Good Art Company Gallery! Field of Dreams is inspired from the beautiful sunflower fields we visited in Provence, France. The flowers seemed to stretch forever and the color explosion was out of this world! Back in my studio, I worked from a combination of photos, on-site sketches and memories. Painting the sunflowers full-sized in the foreground helps to bring them to life and hopefully transport you to this happy location. Including surprising pops of vivid reds and purples keeps your eye moving throughout the scene, seeing new things each time you look at it, and adds to the joyful feeling.

Or, if you would prefer a print on canvas, please e-mail Niki Gulley for details.

“Adobe Oasis” Painting from Santa Fe, NM by Impressionist Niki Gulley

January 1, 2026

“Adobe Oasis” ©2025 Niki Gulley

24″ x 30″ textured mixed media painting on canvas

During a trip to Santa Fe, we visited this peaceful street off Canyon Road where each home is postcard perfect. Between the unique adobe architecture, the dramatic morning light, and the beautiful plantings surrounding each home, it was hard to choose what to paint! I was drawn to this turquoise doorway and gorgeous raking morning light. I loved the oranges of the adobe contrasted against the purples in the various blooming sage plants. Chamisa and aspens glow in a warm golden palette and pops of ruby blooms add energy and warmth to the scene. Welcome home!
